About Darren Claphan:
With over twenty-four years of experience, Darren is well-versed in multiple business disciplines. His career began in the United States Marine Corps where he served as in various billets including as a Marine Scout Sniper Team Leader. Darren’s career stints include working in Security Operations for one of the largest private organization in America and serving as the Vice President of National Accounts where he managed a client portfolio with revenues in excess of $350 million. Since joining MSG in 2019, Darren developed and implemented a Global Intelligence program, an Enterprise Joint Security Operations Center and lead the build out of the organizations Business Continuity and Crisis Management programs which were tested successfully during the COVID -19 Pandemic. In early 2020 Darren assumed physical and technical security program oversite for all MSG Arenas, Theatres, and corporate properties. Later in 2021 Darren inherited responsibilities for all MSG Aviation Operations with the P&L management of all aircraft and personnel. Most recently, Darren stepped away from his security role to serve as the Interim General Manager and successfully launched the $2.3 billion dollar Las Vegas Sphere.
